SOS Children's Villages is a non-profit organisation supporting orphaned and vulnerable children across the world. In South Africa they are currently supporting approximately 900 children in their Villages and 5000 through the family strengthening programme in 8 of the 9 provinces.

The organisation SOS Children's Villages stands for the work we do and the gratification of enabling the most disadvantaged children to have a significant (second) chance for a happy childhood shaped by positive experiences. In the process, we draw on memories of our own childhood and hope for a world with more colour and more heart. The longings and dreams of happy childhood inspire a change "for the better" as we believe that each child is a source of joy.
